Here's a job that required some real problem-solving. A facility running 2 walk-in coolers and 2 walk-in freezers was doing it all off one large outdoor unit. That setup works until it doesn't - and when a single unit is shouldering the load for four separate refrigerated spaces, you're one breakdown away from losing everything inside them.

The solution was to split things out properly. We helped transition that single outdoor unit into 4 individual condensing units, each one dedicated to its own cooler or freezer. That kind of separation gives each refrigerated space its own reliable cooling source. If one unit has an issue, the others keep running. It's a much smarter way to run a commercial refrigeration system.

Our piece of this was the electrical side. We converted the existing 100 amp feed and built out a panel to power all four new condensers and their corresponding evaporators. That meant running dedicated circuits for each unit and making sure the panel was wired cleanly and correctly to handle the load. Commercial refrigeration equipment needs consistent, stable power - anything less and you're shortening equipment life and risking temperature failures.

This is exactly the kind of work that sits at the intersection of commercial electrical and HVAC power. It's not just about flipping breakers. It takes real coordination to make sure every unit gets the right feed, properly protected, with everything labeled and organized inside the panel. That's what we focus on when we do equipment modifications and panel work at this scale.
